One of our prestigious clients in the UAE is looking for an experienced TAQA / ADDC Approved HV & LV Cable Jointer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in cable jointing and termination for LV, 11kV, 22kV, and 33kV electrical systems, including conventional joints, transition joints, and plug-in terminations.

Job Description

One of our prestigious clients in the UAE is looking for an experienced TAQA / ADDC Approved HV & LV Cable Jointer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in cable jointing and termination for LV, 11kV, 22kV, and 33kV electrical systems, including conventional joints, transition joints, and plug-in terminations. SALARY: AED 4,000–5,000 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cable jointing and termination for LV, 11kV, 22kV, and 33kV electrical systems.
• Carry out conventional cable joints, transition joints, and plug-in terminations in accordance with approved procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Install and terminate HV and LV power cables while ensuring compliance with applicable technical standards and project requirements.
• Prepare cables for jointing and termination, including cable cutting, stripping, insulation preparation, and connector installation.
• Ensure proper installation of cable accessories and jointing kits in accordance with approved methods.
• Conduct required inspections and assist with electrical testing activities following cable jointing and termination.
• Identify and report cable defects, installation issues, and other technical concerns to the relevant supervisor or engineer.
• Follow approved work procedures, electrical safety requirements, and site permit-to-work systems.
• Maintain accurate records of completed jointing and termination activities.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other technical personnel to ensure work is completed safely and according to project schedules.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma, ITI qualification, or an equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in HV and LV cable jointing and termination.
• TAQA / ADDC approval for HV and LV cable jointing work.
• Practical experience in cable jointing and termination for LV, 11kV, 22kV, and 33kV systems.
• Hands-on experience with conventional joints, transition joints, and plug-in terminations.
• Knowledge of cable jointing kits, cable accessories, and manufacturer-recommended installation procedures.
• Understanding of electrical safety procedures and safe working practices for HV and LV installations.
• Ability to work effectively with site engineers, supervisors, and installation teams.
• Good technical, communication, and teamwork skills.
