Job Description

One of our prestigious clients in the UAE is looking for hardworking and physically fit Labourers for Electrical & Civil Works to join their team. Candidates should be willing to support electrical and civil construction activities, including trench excavation, cable laying, material handling, and site preparation. SALARY: AED 1,200 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Excavate trenches for electrical cable installation works according to site requirements and supervisors’ instructions.
• Assist with HV and LV cable laying, handling, positioning, and associated installation activities.
• Support the installation, positioning, shifting, and handling of heavy electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, Ring Main Units (RMUs), and other substation equipment.
• Carry out general electrical and civil construction support activities, including material handling and site preparation.
• Load, unload, move, and arrange construction materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• Assist technicians, electricians, engineers, and supervisors with daily site activities.
• Maintain site cleanliness and ensure work areas remain safe and organized.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and cooperate with other construction team members.
• Adhere to all applicable Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and safe manual-handling practices.
• Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including hot environments, while following site safety instructions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• No specific educational qualification required.
• Relevant experience in electrical or civil construction work will be an advantage.
• Experience in trench excavation, HV/LV cable laying, material handling, or substation construction will be preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in demanding site conditions.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in hot weather conditions.
• Ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and work effectively as part of a construction team.
• Basic awareness of construction site safety and HSE requirements.
• Hardworking, responsible, and willing to support various site activities.
