Candidates should hold a Diploma, ITI, or equivalent technical qualification and have 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting, technical drawings, and electrical design documentation. This is a head office-based position.

One of our prestigious clients in the UAE is looking for experienced Electrical Draftsmen to join their team. Candidates should hold a Diploma, ITI, or equivalent technical qualification and have 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting, technical drawings, and electrical design documentation. This is a head office-based position. SALARY: AED 3,500–5,000 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and engineering requirements.
• Develop electrical installation drawings, wiring diagrams, cable routing layouts, and lighting and power distribution plans.
• Prepare and revise electrical drawings based on engineers’ instructions and project requirements.
• Interpret engineering sketches, technical specifications, and design documents to produce accurate electrical drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and other drafting teams to ensure drawings are consistent with project requirements.
• Incorporate design changes and updates into drawings while maintaining proper document control.
• Assist in preparing electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other project documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable electrical standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documents.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve drawing-related discrepancies and technical issues.
• Support engineers and project teams with drafting requirements and documentation from the head office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma, ITI qualification, or equivalent technical course in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting.
• Good knowledge of electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, cable routing, and power distribution drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant electrical drafting software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Understanding of electrical installation practices and applicable engineering standards.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and document management skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers and other technical teams.
• Willingness to work in a head office-based environment.
• Responsible, organized, and committed to meeting project deadlines.
